Laboratory Research Associate

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Fuchs Lubricants Co. As a key member of our quality control department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products.
**Responsibilities:**
- Verify the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products using established methods and perform calculations to determine adjustments required for conformance.
- Keep detailed records and communicate results in a timely manner.
- Enter test data into our SAP system, file vendor certifications, and raw material and production inspections in the appropriate area.
- Prepare laboratory reagents, calibrate equipment, and file retain samples in designated holding areas.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, flexibility in work, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Participate in general housekeeping, including routine cleaning and maintenance, and perform other duties as requested by management.
**Requirements:**
- A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry is preferred.
- Microsoft applications experience (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- SAP computer system experience is a plus.
