About the Role

As a Medical Support Specialist at SCA Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our physician-driven, specialty care businesses. You will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our medical teams, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data entry and management
  • Filing and organizing medical records
  • Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries
  • Organizing paperwork and uploading files in a timely manner
  • Performing other business office and clinical functions as needed
  • Acting as a liaison between patients, clinical or medical teammates
  • Maintaining positive communications with medical staff members and their office personnel
Requirements
  • Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • One year of Medical Assistant / Nursing Assistant/ Patient Care Tech experience preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant (MA)/Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Patient Care (PCT) preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
