Recovery Coach, 24 Hrs Weekly, 2nd Shift, Retreat Residential Unit

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Coach to join our team. As a Recovery Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey, providing hope, encouragement, and reassurance to those served within our program.
Key Responsibilities:
Use your personal recovery experience to offer hope and encouragement to individuals in our program.
Participate in clinical and staff meetings as assigned.
Collaborate with program leadership to implement programmatic changes using evidence-based practices to improve service quality and outcomes.
Assist individuals in becoming active participants in their treatment and encourage self-advocacy while in the program.
Document interactions in the electronic medical record and coordinate with other treatment team members as necessary.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED, with 6 months post-high school education in behavioral sciences preferred.
Life experience allowing individuals to identify themselves as a peer and/or coach.
Demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal format to meet position responsibilities.
Current certification as a Certified Peer Support Specialist and/or Recovery Coach, or ability to obtain Michigan Peer Support Specialist Certification once hired may be required.
