Key Responsibilities:- Perform engineering duties in planning and designing tools, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment.
- Identify and propose creative solutions for conflicts between feature requirements and technical feasibility.
- Confirm with the project team that technical parameters are incorporated into the design.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base updated to the latest engineering trends, system tools, and tooling development processes.
- Create and update design layouts, reference data according to engineering structures.
- Support the development and construction of 3D models with respect to dimensional technical constraints and model build in general.
- Support studio work and ensure correct technical and geometrical status toward physical models, mockups, and ergonomic bucks.
- Communicate vehicle engineering concepts, ideas, and requests to the product design team for evaluation and feedback.

- Represent product design as the department engineering authority in cross-functional teams.
- Communicate product designs benefits and attributes with engineering and suppliers.
- Introduce new technical solutions.
- Provide technical specifications for creative designers and Alias surface designers.
- Create various technical specifications to direct design work, including sketching, clay modeling, and 3D data.
- Education: Bachelor's – Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree.
- Experience: Four (4) years in the position above, as a Design Engineer, or in a related mechanical engineering role;
- Experience must include each of the following: 1. Catia v5 and Catia 3Dx CAD software. 2. Injection molding manufacturing and tooling feasibility. 3. US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for determination of compliance of designs.
