Position Overview:
Contract role with a focus on quality assurance in a hybrid work environment.

Key Details:
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Compensation: Up to $24 per hour based on experience

Core Responsibilities:
  • Enhance product quality through continuous improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma and Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Engage with clients during complaint investigations and provide resolutions while analyzing trends.
  • Maintain the integrity of product design as materials and processes evolve.
  • Assist in design modifications driven by quality enhancements or cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Support New Product Introductions (NPI) through validation processes, test method development, and risk assessment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering within the medical device industry.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 standards for at least 2 years.
  • Experience with Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
