Job Summary
This part-time Pulmonology position offers a unique opportunity to practice medicine in a value-based care setting, focusing on both preventive care and management of complex pulmonary conditions. As a Pulmonologist at Harbor Health Services, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized respiratory care while contributing to our innovative healthcare delivery model.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program of pulmonary care for our diverse population of members.
  • Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients with various respiratory conditions.
  • Evaluate and manage patients with COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and sleep disorders.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Interpret pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic studies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to developing clinical protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record.

Requirements
  • Board certified/eligible in Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Active state medical license or eligible for licensure in Texas.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Pulmonology.
  • Experience with or interest in value-based care delivery models.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
