Job Title: Licensed Primary Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Primary Therapist to join our team at Banyan Treatment Centers. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including Bios, CSSRS, and eating disorder assessments, to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and interventions.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a range of modalities to address patient needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including chart audits and QA committee meetings.
  • Train and mentor new staff and interns on documentation and assessment procedures.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Clinician in the state of Florida.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family required.
  • Three to Five Years of work experience in substance abuse and/or mental health field.
  • CAP or state certification preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Communication & Written skills.
  • Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws.
  • Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance Program.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Substance Abuse experience.
