Position Overview:
The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is in search of a dedicated Bridge Management Systems Analyst to enhance our Bridge Section operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the accuracy of data within our bridge management framework and producing insightful data reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Inspection Project Manager within the Bridge Asset Management team.
- Develop database queries to resolve program-specific issues.
- Collect, evaluate, and process data from external databases for the bridge management framework.
- Manage spreadsheets and tracking logs for modifications in the database system.
- Contribute to the planning of enhancements for existing bridge management software.
- Assist in formulating scopes and specifications for software upgrades.
- Collaborate with IT and Business teams to ensure successful software project implementations.
- Exhibit knowledge of National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS).
- Participate in the annual update of the Idaho Manual for Bridge Evaluation (IMBE).
- Examine bridge inspection reports for adherence to ITD standards.
- Prepare documentation for quality assurance evaluations.
- Organize and track bridge maintenance requests.
- Support the training of bridge inspection team leaders.
- Provide training and resources to users of ITD's bridge management systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Familiarity with training methodologies.
- Experience in interpreting and applying relevant laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in analyzing system output data and ensuring data integrity.
- Experience in researching and resolving automated case processing challenges.
- Ability to offer technical support to automated system users.
- Skill in translating technical information into clear communications.
