Job Summary

The Task Force General Manager position at Prism Hotels is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a seasoned hospitality professional to provide coverage to our properties across the United States during times of transition and disposition. This position involves providing assistance in training opportunities, acting as an Interim General Manager, and supporting our hotel properties in achieving superior revenue and guest service scores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, direct, and manage all day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and associate satisfaction.
  • Provide strong leadership to hotel associates through training and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with local community involvement and maintain keen relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers.
  • Work closely with the management team to achieve superior revenue and guest service scores, while adhering to Branded SOPs.
  • Act as the corporate liaison, promoting Prism Hotels' core values and culture, and motivating hotel contributions to meet overall goals.
  • Ensure financial parameters established in the budget are forecasted and upheld.
  • Participate in the hiring of additional hotel associates and oversee departmental performance evaluations.
  • Comply with Prism Hotels' standards for personal appearance and grooming, including dress code requirements.
  • Reside at the hotel property and be available as needed.

Requirements

  • Obtained a degree in Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • 5 years minimum of managerial experience in a hotel property environment.
  • Sales and F&B experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Revenue Management.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenues and GOP objectives.
  • Knowledge of hotel operating systems.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Dependable, motivated, and flexibility are required.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver's license, be able to work in the US, and available to travel to any of our hotel properties.
