About this JobThis position involves attending the Defense Language Institute (DLI) for language training, where you will learn to speak, listen, and read in your target language. You will also be immersed in the culture of the region, which will help you become a true expert in the language.
The BenefitsThis job offers many benefits, including:
- A competitive salary, estimated at up to $45,000 per year
- An associate degree in foreign language upon graduation from DLI
- Assessment and attendance at either 35M or 35P Advanced Individual Training

- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
The U.S. Army is one of the three military departments that report to the Department of Defense. It has two components: the ACTIVE component and the RESERVE component. The Army Reserve Component allows you to develop skills, become a leader, and build a network in your field while serving close to home and continuing to pursue your goals. The Army Active Component involves helping perform day-to-day military operations with a specialized skillset in a specific field.
You will receive great benefits, including a competitive salary, bonuses, and incentives, as well as excellent healthcare, retirement, and education benefits. Soldiers qualify for a variety of opportunities, like the GI Bill, to get help paying for their education, specialized training, and other certifications.
