Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Observe and report any changes in resident condition, including symptoms, behavior, and physical changes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nurse or healthcare coordinator.
  • Document resident information, including medication administration and vital signs.
  • Assist with continence management and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • Qualified Medication Assistant certification
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
