We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Heart Center team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, efficient care to our pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with pediatric critical care medicine physicians and hospitalists to provide 24-hour in-house coverage for patients with intensive care needs.
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans, ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, and providing patient education.
- Contribute to the maintenance of medical records and ensure accurate documentation of patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest cardiac care practices and technologies.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
- Certified in Basic Life Support.
- Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.
- Experience in Cardiac ICU and pediatric nursing highly preferred.
