Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, washing them by hand or utilizing dishwashing equipment as assigned.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays according to established procedures, ensuring thorough cleanliness.
• Polish silverware using appropriate tools and methods, maintaining high sanitation standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations.
• Monitor and maintain proper temperatures and chemical levels as per guidelines.
• Keep the dishwashing area organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping and mopping kitchen floors.
• Wash work surfaces, walls, and food preparation areas.
• Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness of garbage containers.
• Assist in the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Support loading and unloading of supplies and products.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
