WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV seeks a gastroenterologist to join a well-established practice with a strong reputation for providing excellent general and advanced GI care to a patient base of close to 300,000.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with digestive disorders including liver disease, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, cancers and other disorders of the gastrointestinal system in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Work collaboratively with a cohesive and highly supported team of providers that practice under one roof with the clinic connected to the hospital.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility to obtain a state medical license.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
