Specialized Wound Care Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Stratus Wound Care.
Compensation PackageThe compensation for this role will be $125 per patient visit with a generous bonus plan available after 30 days, providing a total estimated annual salary of approximately $250,000 - $300,000, depending on the number of visits.
About the RoleThis part-time position requires traveling within a 75-mile radius of your assigned location. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while providing specialized care to patients with acute and chronic wounds.
Responsibilities- Assessing and evaluating patients' wounds to determine the appropriate treatment plan
- Cleaning, debriding, and dressing wounds using aseptic techniques
- Monitoring and documenting wound healing progress
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop comprehensive care plans
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- A valid APRN/Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. (Active License in Tennessee and Kentucky Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of wound care principles, techniques, and evidence-based practices (preferred)
