Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Management
    Responsible for the precise and timely setup, operation, and dismantling of sophisticated audiovisual equipment, ensuring seamless event execution.
  • Troubleshooting
    Quickly identifies and resolves technical issues as they arise, maintaining operational integrity.
  • Safety Compliance
    Adheres to all company safety and security protocols to protect equipment from theft and damage.

Customer Engagement

  • Delivers outstanding service, consistently striving to exceed the expectations of both internal and external clients.
  • Maintains strong relationships with clients through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Works closely with the internal team to devise event solutions before and during events, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.

Training and Development

  • Fosters an environment conducive to the growth of technical and leadership skills among team members.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to technical, sales, and operations staff to enhance their technical capabilities.

Event Oversight

  • Engages in advanced operational tasks before, during, and after events, collaborating with team members.
  • Supervises and directs the activities of other technicians during events.

Equipment Care

  • Assists in the secure storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Conducts inventory assessments and forecasts equipment requirements.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Encore Technical Level 3 Certification is mandatory, with new team members required to obtain certification within 30 days of joining.
  • Encore Technical Level Two Core Certifications (Audio, Lighting, Projection, Video, Scenic) are essential, with certification to be completed within 60 days for new hires.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant field experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse workforce and senior management.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and initiatives effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary for roles involving company vehicle operation.
  • Demonstrates responsiveness, safety awareness, technical proficiency, and the ability to instill trust.

Work Environment
The position is based in a hotel or convention center setting, with exposure to varying outdoor temperatures and environmental conditions. Team members will operate high-end audiovisual equipment and may work at heights using lifts and ladders. Flexibility in working hours is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
