Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of ENT conditions. As a key member of our clinical team, you will work closely with our supervising physicians to evaluate and treat patients, perform procedures, and develop care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients with ENT conditions
- Perform ENT procedures, such as fiberoptic scope exams, drainage abscesses, and tracheostomy care
- Provide patient services under the direct supervision of our supervising physicians
- Responsible for evaluating patients, obtaining medical history, performing ENT exams, and developing care plans
- Administer medications and refill prescriptions according to practice protocols
- Order and collect specimens for laboratory tests, and initiate patient referrals to other healthcare facilities
- Perform clinical procedures within established scope of practice guidelines
- Complete medical record documentation and maintain proficiency with EMR systems
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of Pennsylvania
- Board certification from the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Prior experience as a Physician Assistant in ENT preferred, but will train in ENT specialty if candidate has prior clinical training
- Current AHA BLS certification
