Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staffing Analyst to join our team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our staffing department, you will be responsible for analyzing, verifying, and tracking employee schedules to ensure that our facilities are appropriately staffed to meet patient care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and verify employee schedules for accuracy
  • Prepare software-based time utilization reports and review with team leaders to identify trends in staff scheduling and cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop schedules for nurses, aides, therapists, or other patient care providers in a staffing software
  • Identify daily cost-saving opportunities regarding payroll and utilization of overtime
  • Monitor clock-in/clock-out procedures, notify management of absences, and prepare and transmit information for payroll
  • Review overtime and sign off on payroll with management prior to submission deadline to Corporate Payroll
  • Prepare time utilization reports, monthly turnover and vacancy report, employee attendance reports, daily zone report, and reports requested on demand
  • Partner with team leaders to ensure accuracy of position control and licenses/certifications
  • Participate in the orientation and in-service training of staffing department employees
  • Act as a liaison between assigned departments and Human Resources/Corporate HR Payroll
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required
