**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at PrideStaff. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling products without quality defects while pulling necessary parts for that product. You will operate hand and air-powered tools such as impact wrenches, manual and powered screwdrivers, sockets, and other assorted power and hand tools. Additionally, you will update information in manufacturing software regarding job data.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assemble products (units and/or sub-assemblies) without quality defects.
* Pull needed parts to assemble products.
* Read blueprints and other drawings to ensure products are assembled correctly.
* Operate hand and air-powered tools such as impact wrenches, manual and powered screwdrivers, sockets, and other assorted power and hand tools.
* Update information in manufacturing software regarding job data.

**Requirements:**

* High school degree or GED equivalent is required.
* Ability to interpret blueprints and instructional drawings preferred; aptitude to learn this skill is required.
* Mechanical skills/aptitude and ability to use hand tools are required.
* Comprehension of machine tolerance preferred; aptitude to learn this concept is required.
* Computer skills are required.

**Physical Demands:**

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. over 2/3 of workday.
* Other physical activity may include standing, climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, and frequent use of hands and fingers.
* Fine motor skills required to use small parts in assemblies.

**Compensation:**

$18.00 per hour.
