Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Produce Clerk to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a Senior Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of product knowledge and product preparation, ensuring that our produce department is always stocked and presented in a way that delights our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock and merchandise produce in a way that is visually appealing and meets our high standards
  • Ensure that all produce is handled, prepared, and presented in a way that is safe and meets our quality standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers
  • Work closely with the Produce Manager to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning and sanitizing the work area
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures
  • Be dependable and reliable
  • Have an outgoing and friendly demeanor, with excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Be able to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
