At Premier Pediatric Therapy Source (PPTS), we believe in making a positive impact on children and families within the DC metro area. Our collaborative environment fosters teamwork across speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and nutrition services. We are committed to excellence and invest in our team members through weekly staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and mentorship programs.

Your Role
  • Conduct evaluations, provide treatment, offer consultations, and develop discharge plans for children within our outpatient clinic program.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the practice's electronic medical record system.
  • Communicate effectively with a child's primary physician and other healthcare providers through progress reports, phone calls, or other appropriate means.
  • Contribute to program development activities and participate in trainings and staff meetings.
  • Uphold professional clinical competency requirements and adhere to established policies, procedures, regulations, laws, and ethical standards.
  • Provide a positive and exceptional experience for children and their families.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Active Virginia state license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional documentation abilities, clinical reasoning skills, and time management skills.
  • Successful completion of a FBI background check and negative TB test.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required for working with children, including lifting and moving equipment as needed.
