Job Title: Pediatric Registered Dietitian

At Premier Pediatric Therapy Source, we are seeking a part-time Pediatric Registered Dietitian to join our team of therapists and provide exceptional care to children and families within our clinic and early intervention programs.

Job Summary:

Premier Pediatric Therapy Source is a therapist-owned, growing practice with big dreams serving children from birth to 18 years old with diverse abilities. We are currently looking for a part-time Registered Dietitian to play an integral role in continuing to develop our feeding program while working closely in collaboration with our Occupational, Physical and Speech therapy team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments, treatment, consultation, and discharge planning for children within the outpatient clinic and early intervention programs.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each child's needs.
  • Provide nutrition counseling support and education to families.
  • Document patient information within our electronic medical record system.
  • Maintain effective communication with primary physicians and other healthcare providers through progress reports, phone calls, or other forms of communication.
  • Contribute to the development of our feeding program alongside a trans-disciplinary team.
  • Participate in training and staff meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to established policies, regulations, laws, and ethical standards.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience to children and families.
Requirements:
  • Credential as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian with experience in Pediatrics.
  • Ability to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, carry, push, pull, walk, or run.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Strong ability to work independently.
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate well with families and other professionals.
  • Possess exceptional time management skills.
  • Possess strong verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Basic computer experience (Microsoft Office, Internet, Electronic Medical Record, etc.).
  • Completion of Background Check.
  • Negative TB Test.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel to family homes within Arlington and Alexandria.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience working with the ASD population.
