Job Description

Mechanical Insulator

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Insulator to join our team. As a Mechanical Insulator, you will be responsible for installing insulation materials on pipes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and cut insulation materials for pipes and equipment using tools like tape measures, knives, and scissors.
  • Install pipe insulation jacketing, utilizing PVC and aluminum materials.
  • Safely remove worn, damaged, or outdated insulation from pipes and equipment.
  • Assess the quantity and types of insulation needed and determine the most effective installation methods.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to understand job requirements.
  • Apply sealants and protective coatings to enhance insulation longevity.
  • Operate construction equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts.
  • Handle materials efficiently across the job site.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, ensuring a professional environment at all times.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6am-4pm
