Job Title: Clinical Nurse I - Telemetry

Job Summary:

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse I to join our Telemetry team. As a Clinical Nurse I, you will provide professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population.
  • Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family, and all healthcare team providers to ensure safe, effective, and quality patient care.
  • Follows organizational policies in providing safe patient care.
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical, and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate
  • Associate Degree Nursing
  • 6 months to 2 years' experience as a Clinical Nurse
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing (Kansas) or compact license
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 14 days
