Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Caregiver to join our team. As a Hospice Caregiver, you will provide personal care services to patients in their homes, promoting their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with prescribed exercises and activities to maintain their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Perform homemaking and other environmental services to create a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Observe and report any changes in patient status to the primary nurse.
  • Follow specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration requirements.
  • CNA experience within the last two years.
  • Must be able to successfully pass the competency program of the care center.
  • Current CPR certification.
