Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Caregiver to join our team. As a Hospice Caregiver, you will provide personal care services to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with prescribed exercises and activities, as instructed by a nurse or therapist.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding as assigned.
  • Perform homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
  • Observe, report, and document any changes in patient's status, and follow specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant, as per state certification/registration requirements.
  • CNA experience within the last two years, or completion of another training and competency program before providing services.
  • Must be able to successfully pass the competency program of the care center.
  • Current CPR certification.
