Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate English Language Arts teacher to join our team at Camden Prep. As a member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and helping them achieve academic success.

Responsibilities
  • Teach English Language Arts to high school students, focusing on reading, writing, and discussion skills.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure students meet academic goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Teacher certification is not required, but candidates must meet NJ state certification eligibility requirements.
  • Experience working with urban students and communities preferred.
  • Strong academic expertise in Humanities, English, or related fields.
