MAC Incorporated is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in electro-mechanical systems, with a focus on PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, VFDs, and both mechanical and electrical diagnostics.
A stable job history in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential.
Compensation ranges from $33 to $38 per hour, with a schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Repair molding machines and supporting equipment, along with general facility maintenance.
- Install new machinery and perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks on assigned equipment.
- Maintain production equipment to guarantee efficient operation.
- Train and guide operators on proper machine usage in accordance with Standard Work Procedures.
- Communicate the status of assembly operations with team leadership throughout the shift.
- Document all tasks and issues in production reports.
- Ensure all machinery is kept in peak operating condition.
- Make necessary adjustments and repairs to sustain continuous production.
- Understand and operate all machinery to facilitate repairs.
- Identify various styles of caps and jars as part of the production process.
- Perform tooling changes efficiently.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; trade school in hydraulics and electrical systems preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft software applications.
- Experience interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and concepts.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while demonstrating safe work practices.
- Strong multitasking and communication skills, with the capability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work overtime and participate in an on-call system.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Food Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to food safety and quality standards.
- Complete all documentation accurately in line with company procedures.
- Restore all work surfaces to sanitary conditions post-maintenance.
- Report any incidents or failures that may affect food safety to management.
