About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist or Certified Hand Therapist to join our team at Select Physical Therapy. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care to assistants and aides, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in occupational therapy, incorporating this knowledge into patient care.
  • Collaborate with referral sources, facilities, and clients to enhance and expand relationships, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
  • National registration and state licensure or registration required.
  • CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (desired but not required).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the day.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a workday.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to evaluate, diagnose, and monitor patient needs.
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
  • Ability to push wheeled equipment through the facility.
