Job Summary

The Patient Access Lead is a key member of our team at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, responsible for ensuring seamless registration processes and providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare operations and a passion for delivering high-quality patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide feedback to the director on daily registration processes and staffing issues
  • Assist staff-level employees with compliance and training
  • Support supervisor with report reconciliation, QA process, and other duties as assigned
  • Function as a working registrar and perform all registration duties as required
Requirements
  • Post High School vocational/Specialized Training preferred
  • At least one year of experience in Admissions
  • Prior admissions, customer service, and/or public relations experience preferred
  • Medical terminology, data entry, and clerical skills required
Preferred Qualifications
  • CHAA certification preferred
