Key Responsibilities:
- Manage audit processes for IFRS audits, collaborating with external auditors and various internal teams.
- Engage with external auditors to address any audit-related inquiries and challenges that may arise.
- Support the annual audit cycle for the Benefit Plans, including the preparation of independent financial statements.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze documentation for both external and internal audits.
- Improve existing project workflows to enhance precision, efficiency, and effectiveness in daily operations, ensuring project goals are achieved.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and internal colleagues to encourage open and timely communication.
- Assist with additional tasks undertaken by the Audit Services team, including audit closure presentations, management reports, and more.
- Investigate and document technical accounting matters.
- Conduct internal control assessments.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification
- 2-3 years of experience in public accounting audit
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills, risk awareness, and a comprehensive understanding of processes and controls
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various levels and functions
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
