We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Controls Engineer I to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing system commissioning, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform system-level controller software loading and basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems.
- Respond to basic warranty calls and provide timely resolution to customers.
- Load system-level controller software and perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices.
- Keep management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
- Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
- Complete administrative tasks including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
- Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.
- Communicate with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
- Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training.
- 5 years of demonstrated technical aptitude and/or HVAC experience.
- Able to use hand and power tools (i.e., drills, saws, etc.).
- Basic computer skills required.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication and listening skills.
- Depending on location, the mounting and termination of low voltage devices may have special licensing requirements.
- Must be a US Citizen.
