Position Overview:

This part-time role requires a commitment of 24 hours per week, with variable day shifts scheduled between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM. The position is onsite and includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus (taxable).


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in gathering patient information for evaluation by a Registered Nurse or Provider.
  • Monitor patients and report any unusual observations to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Conduct routine laboratory tests as required.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in the orientation of new staff members, sharing knowledge and experiences.
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation and records.
  • Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to enhance operational efficiency and quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
Excellent customer service skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is preferred. Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR software is advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Experience:
A minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience is preferred. Previous experience in a physician's office is also preferred. Phlebotomy skills are a plus.

Education:
Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program is required. A current Ohio License as a Licensed Practical Nurse is mandatory.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.


Work Status:

This is a part-time position with onsite responsibilities.
