Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Aramark.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to take on a leadership role in managing culinary operations. As a Culinary Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that we maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Training and developing kitchen personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge
- SUPERVISING AND COORDINATING all related culinary activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Estimating food consumption and requisitioning or purchasing food to meet customer demands
- Selecting and developing recipes to standardize production and ensure consistent quality
- Establishing presentation techniques and quality standards, and planning and pricing menus to drive sales and revenue growth
- Ensuring proper equipment operation and maintenance, as well as adhering to safety and sanitation protocols in the kitchen
- Overseeing special catering events and providing culinary instruction and demonstrations to customers

What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 2-3 years of experience in a related position, preferably in a fast-paced culinary environment
- 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience, preferably in a field related to culinary arts
- A culinary degree preferred, but not required
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession, including food safety and sanitation protocols
- Experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems, with a proven track record of success
- Excellent oral, reading, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people
