POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Reporting Analyst at LendingTree acts as a data custodian, tasked with executing enterprise data management strategies. This full-time role will concentrate on developing data solutions that provide reporting as a service through Tableau, utilizing Snowflake as the underlying technology. This position is essential for reinforcing our data management methodologies, fostering a unified understanding of data definitions, enhancing data quality, and actively participating in resolving intricate challenges through continuous integration. The role offers opportunities to refine skills across various technologies and implement comprehensive solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, assess, and refine data in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of business requirements through Snowflake query design.
- Create and maintain documentation illustrating data storage, processing, and access methodologies.
- Contribute to a repository of curated data sources and reports.
- Assist in maintaining Tableau server performance and report reliability.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information requirements.
- Engage in technical discussions and adopt innovative technologies to enhance development and operations.
- Share expertise and insights, contributing to the overall growth of team capabilities.
- Learn, develop, and implement solutions adhering to best practices for data integrity, security, and scalability.
- Provide training and support for users across various experience levels.
- Deliver high-quality work on assignments and projects, positively influencing the team, department, and organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Analytics.
- Proficient in SQL for data profiling, cleansing, and standardization.
- Experience with a range of tools and frameworks (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake, SQL Server, Python).
- Understanding of data architecture and modeling concepts, including essential terminology (e.g., EDW, data lake, star schema).
- Proven ability to gather data, assess theories, and pose solution-oriented inquiries.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, data management, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with sales and marketing teams or in a startup environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics is a plus.
