Rush Enterprises is seeking a skilled Body Shop Repair Technician to join our team. As a Body Shop Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing or replacing damaged body parts to meet or exceed factory specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Review repair orders, work orders, and estimator's notes to understand repairs needed prior to beginning work on the vehicle.
- Complete all repairs according to documentation on the repair order or supplement.
- Use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures.
- Perform initial teardown of vehicle, identify parts for cut-in and edging, and re-assemble painted vehicle and painted parts.
- Perform and sign-off on all quality checks before sending vehicle to paint department.
- Work with apprentice or lesser skilled technicians in developing repair skills.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Four years' body shop experience.
- ASE certification in body repairs.
- Auto Body Vo-tech.
- ICAR Welding Certificate.
- Valid driver's license and insurability.
- Exceptional compensation and benefits.
