  • Administer Therapy: Set up and operate respiratory equipment, administer medications, and provide patient education to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Monitor Patient Progress: Conduct regular assessments, track patient responses to therapy, and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Maintain Patient Records: Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.
  • Stay Current with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of a Co ARC-approved Respiratory program.
  • Licensure: Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Clearances: Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73 FBI Clearance.
