Job Summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled ICU Nurse RN to join our team. As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
  • Provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.
Requirements
  • RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
  • Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • BLS required, and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non-ICU area.
  • At least one-year clinical nursing preferred.
