About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool team at Belton Regional Medical Center. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, all regulatory, facility and unit-specific policy and procedure;
- Work as a team member ensuring high levels of communication with patients;
- Consult with nursing leadership as needed to achieve desired nursing outcomes;
- Provide nursing care in all units;
- Document data in electronic records in real time;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Demonstrate working knowledge of AIDET, utilizing with each patient interaction;
- Regular, reliable attendance is required to ensure the highest level of patient care;
- Follow hospital safety and quality standards and expectations, as it pertains to job performance and patient care;
Requirements
- Graduate of Professional School of Nursing, BSN or ADN required;
- ENPC & PALS within 1 year of hire;
- 2+ years critical care required (ICU, ED, PACU);
- Missouri RN Licensure;
- Current BLS;
- ACLS w/in 90 days of hire;
- TNCC OR ATCN within 1 year of hire;
