Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Unit Monitor to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for monitoring patient ECG rhythms and maintaining monitoring equipment.

In this role, you will work closely with medical and nursing staff to ensure that patients receive high-quality care. Your attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure will be essential in this fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • Maintain accurate records of patient vital signs and other relevant information
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and alert medical personnel as needed
  • Operate monitoring equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
