We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Toddler Lead Teacher to join our team at LePort Montessori. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in guiding our students in meaningful work while providing a prepared environment that facilitates student-led learning and freedom with responsibility.

About the Role

This is a full-time, year-round position, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Montessori education and a passion for working with young children. The ideal candidate will be able to create a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging and challenging lessons for our toddler students
  • Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes socialization and independence
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth and successful partnership
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in Montessori education
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma and early childhood education units (6 core or more)
  • Montessori teaching experience or certification preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
