Pulmonary Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Unavailable. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform arterial punctures, continuous ventilation, airway maintenance, emergency care, infection control, isolation procedures, maintenance and operation of mechanical ventilators, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, aerosolized medication delivery for the treatment of pulmonary disease, and medical gas administration.
- Access medications from the medication storage unit and the nurse servers in the patient care areas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested in a professional manner.

- Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required, ACLS, PALS
- Two-year degree
- Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
- Five years of experience in direct and indirect respiratory care services, including (but not limited to) the administration of pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures necessary to implement a treatment, disease prevention, pulmonary rehabilitative, or diagnostic regimen prescribed by a physician and surgeon.
