Job Summary:

This is a full-time or part-time opportunity to work as a Mobile Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in an Inpatient Clinic in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant/Nursing Studies and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Dermatology. Surgical experience and EMA experience are preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating common dermatological disorders such as psoriasis, dermatitis, or eczema and dermatological infections such as those caused by viruses, fungi, or bacteria.
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, including x-rays, blood work, and scans.
  • Performing patient intake, providing patient education on skincare and skin cancer prevention, and completing nursing tasks, like removing stitches after a procedure.
  • Referring patients to specialists if necessary and analyzing medical records and reports.
  • Advising patients regarding prescriptions and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant/Nursing Studies.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Dermatology.
  • Surgical experience preferred.
  • EMA experience preferred.
