Position Overview


The Physician Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering patient care through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment within a clinical environment, adhering to state regulations under the guidance of the medical director.

This role requires close collaboration with clinic personnel, hospital divisions, and community health organizations.

Work Schedule:

Four ten-hour shifts weekly, with Thursdays designated as a day off.

Weekend coverage on a 1:5 rotation, with only two weekdays worked during the weekend coverage week.

Work Environment:


The position involves responsibilities at multiple facilities, primarily focusing on a designated medical center.


Educational Requirements
Master's Degree in a relevant field.

Professional Experience
A minimum of six months in a related healthcare role.

Certifications and Licenses
*CPR Certification
*Licensed Physician Assistant

Key Qualifications
*Effective communication skills with medical staff and diverse patient populations.
*ACLS certification is recommended.
*Additional certifications may be necessary for specific specialties (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
*Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
*Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues.
*Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to credentialing standards.
*Cognitive proficiency to interpret medical records and orders accurately.
*Discipline to operate within established clinical protocols.
*Preferred experience in a similar specialty.
