Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to established protocols and standards. Reporting directly to the Nurse Manager, the RN plays a crucial role in assessing and meeting the healthcare needs of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute professional nursing duties in alignment with the defined scope of practice and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in leading nursing practices and collaborating with other healthcare personnel, including unlicensed assistive staff.
- Conduct thorough assessments of personal professional performance and stay updated with the latest theoretical knowledge and practical skills relevant to nursing.
Qualifications:
1. Valid California State Registered Nurse license.
2. Current CPR certification is mandatory.
3. ACLS certification is preferred at the time of hire; must be obtained within 90 days for experienced RNs and within 6 months for new graduate RNs.
4. PALS certification is preferred at the time of hire; must be obtained within 90 days for experienced RNs and within 6 months for new graduate RNs.
5. NIHSS certification is required for current employees; new hires must obtain it within 6 months.
6. Recent nursing practice experience (within the last 4 years) or completion of nursing refresher courses is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience is required.
Compensation:
The hourly wage ranges from $44.38 to $72.40, with a starting rate of $44.38.
