**Position Overview**

Braun Intertec is seeking a driven Project Engineer to join our Renewable Energy Team, focusing primarily on solar energy initiatives. This role involves managing moderate to complex geotechnical projects related to solar energy development, providing the necessary technical expertise to surpass client expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop project scopes and prepare proposals for geotechnical engineering projects, specifically in the solar energy sector.
  • Create comprehensive geotechnical engineering reports that offer professional insights and practical solutions.
  • Conduct engineering analyses adhering to company and industry standards.
  • Oversee routine to complex geotechnical engineering projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
  • Work independently on specific assignments with oversight from senior staff.
  • Perform quality reviews of work completed by team members, addressing any quality issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with Account Leaders and regional operations to effectively coordinate field staff and manage workloads.
  • Ensure adherence to specifications by working closely with engineers, project managers, and field staff.
  • Assist in developing business goals and strategies while fostering client relationships to achieve objectives.
  • Conduct field testing and observations as required.
  • Provide training and review for field operations technicians as needed.

  • Professional Engineer registration or the ability to obtain it within two years is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
