About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Researcher to join our team at Amazon. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will be responsible for leading user research initiatives that inform business strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead research initiatives that align to and inform business strategy and goals
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
  • Help product teams and leadership determine the right research questions to ask
  • Define and execute research methods appropriate to the questions at hand
  • Provide focused, insightful, and actionable findings by quickly and thoroughly analyzing a wide range of primary and secondary data types
  • Translate insights into measurable customer experience outcomes aligned to business goals
About the Team

As part of the AWS Applications group, we're building a new and exciting category of products in Supply Chain Management from the ground-up at a global scale.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a startup team within AWS to build something from scratch in a fast-paced environment with tremendous opportunity for career growth.

Requirements
  • 7+ years proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact
  • BS in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar
  • Portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating mechanisms for UX research team operations
  • End-to-end hands-on experience with all aspects of the design research lifecycle
  • Experience with developing user insights, trends research, and iterative prototype evaluation
