Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Patient Care Tech to provide exceptional patient care and support in our inpatient Neurosurgery service at Inova Alexandria Hospital/Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including daily rounds, progress notes, ER and inpatient consults, admissions, and discharges.
  • Order and interpret labs and radiologic studies, and field phone calls from bedside nurses.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and education.
  • Perform procedures within scope of practice and Inova Health System credentialing and privileges, including EVD and ICP monitor placement.
  • Assist with first-assisting in the OR as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
  • Board certified (ACNP or NCCPA certification).
  • BLS.
  • Virginia License.
  • DEA.
