About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Café Ambassador. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bring the Café experience to life by engaging with customers and the community in all areas of the Café.
  • Proactively assist customers with tech challenges, showcase our services and products, and have deeper conversations about their financial journeys.
  • Guide customers through goal setting by meeting them where they are and advocating for better financial literacy through discovery and Capital One resources.
  • Be a team player and work with an energized team of Ambassadors to inspire teammates and drive results.
  • Stay curious, adaptable, and have a desire to learn and grow through self-development and digital skills training.
  • Partner with local businesses, nonprofits, charities, and the Engagement team to plan events and promote financial literacy.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience
  • Associate's degree or 2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience
  • Proficient in G-Suite
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
