Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team in Oak Brook, IL. As a key member of our facilities team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the mechanical and electrical systems of our office buildings. Key Responsibilities

* Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
* Identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
* Collaborate with our facilities team to develop and implement energy-saving initiatives and improve building operations
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems
* Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics
* CFC/EPA certification required
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
